In 1997, when I was 16, I moved to West Kerry.
I have a strong connection to West Kerry as my mother was born and reared here!
In 2002 I finished a carpentry apprenticeship and went travelling for a couple of years and upon my return I became self employed and started taking on carpentry contracts in roofing, 1st and 2nd fixing.
I also always had a great interest in machinery/plant hire as my parents ran a successful plant hire company in London for 30 years.
During the recession of 2009-2014 I took up an interest in growing my own fruit and vegetables and this gave me the idea of manufacturing poly tunnels.
I soon realised that many people in Kerry have an interest in growing their own food!
The weather in Kerry has been getting worse year on year so the tunnels had some minor changes over the years to withstand the relentless wind, it keeps us on our toes for sure!
Every once in a while my dad likes to join us on local jobs.
He loves the work but most of all he loves the social aspect of it!
We currently have a Show tunnel in Annascaul and at Boyles hardware in Killorglin, as I believe people need to see the product before making their mind up!
We pride ourselves on efficiency, quality and a respect for our environment these are the things that have helped to make our business one you can trust!
